Life is always gay, but not the good kind. Just a little emo-tinged update. If you didn't know I am planning on moving to the Philly area soon! Like next month or sooner. Sadly not too much luck on the job front. My friend Katie and I found an apartment in her complex that we liked and I sent in my paper work. Here is where the emo begins. They of course, needed my last 3 pay stubs, but my hours were cut back to only part time in mid January after my holiday contract was up. I hadn't found anything to replace it so I have just been doing the part time. The woman who runs the building called and said that we have a problem because I won't get approved with this. I explained to her my situation and said I am searching for jobs right now and have some interviews (kind of a stretch). She told me to get a letter from somewhere saying i am going to be working for them and how much a month. So now I am freaking out a bit, I don't want to blow this for the both of us. I may be getting in touch with someone Katie knows for a job, and i guess I could ask him to write it, but I feel like such a douche asking for that really soon after I meet him. I hope that he likes me and I can get a job there, but I am not expecting it. Can a parent co-sign for me? I haven't done this before. I guess I should have asked her the parent thing before. Maybe I will later, but argh! What a pain! EDIT: My folks won't co-sign. Come on, some job! Current Mood:  sad |

ONE WEEK! One week until I leave for the land of tiny skinny peoples! Its so daunting! I haven't packed away all my clothes yet, I haven't heard about my plane ticket(gotta call about that today) and I should be getting my visa back Thursday! Oh goodness! One good thing Carson is in Japan, or will be very shortly, over in Tokyo so I will get to visit her when I have some free time. Plus the sexy Deidre is over in Japanland! I don't want to get too serious in this post but I will miss everyone alot even though I know I will be in touch via intarwebs. I'm going to miss my sister alot! And I will miss the hell out of Pete and my newly aquired cat. Anyways thanks to everyone who went out for karaoke on Saturday and to Philly the Saturday before. I will soon be a busty, drunken, chubby American in Japan! So I finally got an e-mail telling me where I will be living! While this is all good and exciting it means I am so close to leaving and its even scarier than ever before. I won't get all into my being scared now! Also it is going to be a 3 bedroom apartment but only one of my roomies is listed... and shes from Australia! Super fun! I hope she is cool. So I will be living in Fukui. ZOMG! Trying to make up for stolen moneys So with the loss of my $200 I went through my DVDs and manga and I am trying to sell all the things I can bear to part with so I can hopefully get some extra Christmas money and the like. All the DVDs have either been watched once or have just been sitting on my shelf and gone unloved. I searched DVD price search to see what the cheapest price for the item new was and went with pretty much half of that. I also have manga for sale and its all in pretty good condition, I think the only exception is one or two of teh Wild Act volumes that have some wear in the corners. Oh noes A lil over $200 got stolen (or so I think) from my wallet yesterday. I had my money in my wallet at work I know I had it in there 30 minutes before I left. Only two girls I work with were in teh back where my purse was... I'm still trying to sort it out and everything but heres hoping it comes back to me! I really need it! I may be selling some items(dvds and shit) on LJ or something soon to help make up for it. Anyway my last post I meant to say January 16th.
